Reach the item chain

One community route uses the elevator reassessment and a money-focused job choice to enter the Gambling Den. Collect the Transparent Mug on the right when leaving the elevator. A separate firsthand route obtains it as a Strategic Probability Analyst before returning to the Office; completing the telephone objective first is not established as a universal prerequisite.

This sequence produces the Core Key. It is separate from the fishing-related Old or Lost Key used for Ending C.

Water the Office plant

Return to the Office and fill the Transparent Mug at the water cooler. Use the filled mug on the plant to the left. The watered plant gives you a Flower.

If the plant does not react, confirm the mug was filled at the cooler and that you are interacting with the correct plant in the Office.

Trade the Flower for the Wrench

Go back toward the route's train-station or starting area. Give the Flower to the person holding the Wrench, then take the Wrench back to the Office.

The Wrench is the tool for the cooler panel. Do not spend time trying unrelated inventory items on the pipe.

Release the Core Key

Return to the Office cooler with the Wrench selected. Two walkthroughs describe its final interactions differently:

Match the visible part in your game: if only the cabinet is visible, inspect its panel/side; if a gear is exposed, target that part with the Wrench. Check for Core Key in the inventory before leaving. These are source-reported sequences, not a claim that both were replayed on the same build.

Use the Core Key and check the Office gate

The Core Key opens the eye-marked door on the left side of the Office. The achievement route ↗ then uses the eye scanner and red-button puzzle. Owning the key and unlocking Office progression are separate checks.

The key may not grant immediate access to every Core interaction. Use the Wrench on the left-side glass, speak with the other employees, and raise Office productivity. If you won Airplane Tickets from the Gambling Den dice game, give them to Malia before treating the route as blocked.

If the cooler or door is not working

Core Key or Old Key?

• Core Key — Transparent Mug → water → plant → Flower → Wrench → water cooler.
• Old or Lost Key — Fishing Paper → 18 unique fish → hidden window safe.
